Auditor
Responsibilities you will have:
- Performing contractual compliance audit procedures to determine if our clients have been paid properly.
- Analyzing contracts and agreements.
- Manipulating and analyzing data using computer software such as Access and Excel, or other database software.
- Creating workpapers documenting work performed.
- Creating report schedules in Excel.
- Writing text describing audit issues for final reports.
- Communicating with personnel at companies being audited.
- Moving audits toward completion and settlement resolution.
- Meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Limited travel as needed.
Skills we are looking for:
- Capable of manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data in a logical manner.
- Ability to document work in a clear and organized manner, including objectives, procedures and conclusions.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Team player
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Self starter and ability to work independently and efficiently.
- High level of attention to detail.
Background requirements we are looking for:
- B.S. in Accounting is preferred
- CPA Certificate is a definite plus
- Previous experience working in royalty or participation accounting
- Excellent knowledge of Access or other database software is a plus
- Proficiency with Excel is a must
- Familiarity with Word
- IT experience is a plus
